About Modular Education SG
Modular Education Centre is founded more than 20 years ago by Mr Koh Teng Boon.
We specialise in the teaching of maths. Our methods include building foundational knowledge, reinforcing school concepts through practice, and developing higher-order thinking skills for more complex problems.
Our syllabus is aligned with Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) mathematics curriculum, covering all levels from primary school to pre-university.

What is so special about Modular Education Centre?
We strongly believe that every child is uniquely endowed with an innate ability to achieve excellence. To ensure that every child harnesses his or her ability, we have created a learning experience to engage his or her mind to be actively inquisitive and inquiring.

Our math worksheets are meticulously prepared and well structured, progressing from basic fundamentals to challenging problems.
Our teachers are competent in igniting the fire in every child’s imagination so that they are capable of fulfilling their quest for knowledge.
Our class size is deliberately kept small and arranged according to each child’s competency so as to ensure that each child gets his or her needs attended to.

Bespoke Mentoring Program
For new student joining Modular for the first time, we will assess his or her level of math competency, and may conduct one-to-one coaching first. This is to strengthen their math basics before classroom learning, henceforth building a strong confidence of core concepts through hands-on activities, and personalized mentoring.

What is the number of students per class?

We keep our class small to foster interactive learning environment.
Keeping classes small allows for more personalized attention, ultimately optimizing the student's learning experience and interaction with their peers.

Primary Level Classroom
2 to 5 students per class

Secondary Level Classroom
2 to 8 students per class

Junior College Level Classroom
2 to 7 students per class

IB Level Classroom
2 to 7 per students class

If my child is absent from lesson, do I have a replacement lesson?

Yes, replacement lesson will be given if child is sick or involved in school activities.

If lesson falls on a Public Holiday, is the lesson still on?

Our tuition centre does not close on ALL Public Holidays.

If a lesson falls on a Public Holiday and we are closed, there will be a replacement on another day.

If my child decides to quit the class, will there be a refund on the balance lessons?

NO refund is allowed.

Is there any free trial lesson?

NO free trial lesson.

Can I send my child for trial lesson?

Yes, simply pay for 1 or 2 lessons before committing to sign up for our regular classes.
